‘Middle East conflict’ - April Update

by franky

Dear Customer,

Despite the current tense situation in the Middle East, there is good news first:

Our ability to deliver is currently and for the near-term future assured. At present, we see no specific disruptions in our supply chains or supply shortages.

At the same time, however, we are observing increasing momentum in the procurement markets. One of the reasons is restrictions around the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most important transport routes for crude oil and petrochemical precursors. This development is already leading to noticeable price increases for petroleum-based raw materials.
In some cases, our upstream suppliers are reacting at very short notice – for example through price adjustments or changes to orders that have already been confirmed. As a result, the current framework conditions are changing very quickly.

In order to continue guaranteeing reliable delivery to you, we are adjusting our pricing accordingly. Specifically, this means that the validity of our quotations is currently limited to a maximum of one week.
Please understand that – depending on further developments – additional adjustments, for example in energy, additive, or transport costs, may become necessary.
Our sales team will of course coordinate with you proactively whenever needed in order to find the best possible solution for your requirements together.

We are monitoring the situation very closely and remain in close contact with our partners. We will of course inform you proactively about any relevant changes.

Especially in challenging times, open, fair, and cooperative collaboration is particularly important to us. Our commitment remains to support you in the best possible way at all times and to provide you with reliable solutions.

Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have any questions.

Best regards

Your Ströbel Team
